VIU BY TAPIÑAS RESTAURANT
Terrassa, SPAIN
The studio Elia Felices has transformed an old listed farm into the new restaurant Viu by Tapiñas, in Terrassa. A complex rehabilitation that has given rise to a warm, welcoming and very current space.
A space that has different areas with very different architectural characteristics. To provide them with a common link, interior designers have been inspired by the name of the restaurant: Viu («alive» in Catalan), choosing vegetation and wood as protagonists.
The outdoor terrace of the restaurant Viu by Tapiñas continues with the same language as the rest of the restaurant: wooden flooring, metallic furniture in matt black and planters of the same color that create a small oasis.
For this project the KAI hydroplanter has been installed for its finish in lead-lacquered steel
and its double transparent glass that allows to delimit the terrace.
